Glen Moray has been steadily building awareness through its ‘Cask Explorer’ campaign, highlighting how various cask types - including ex-bourbon, sherry, port, and wine - shape the unique flavour profiles of its whiskies.
To build on this momentum, the team challenged Air to create a new range that would break convention in whisky packaging and storytelling - sparking intrigue, excitement, and desire.
After extensive creative exploration, two standout concepts emerged: Twisted Vine, aged in Cognac casks, and Phoenix Rising, matured in Charred Oak. Each was paired with bold, dramatic packaging to bring the stories to life.
The results exceeded all expectations. Twisted Vine proved so popular it became a permanent addition to the Glen Moray portfolio, leading to Air being commissioned to develop future editions in the series.
